SVEN ELVERFELD
Three Michelin stars and 19.5 Gault Millau points served on FÜRSTENBERG porcelain
AN INTERPLAY OF SIMPLICITY AND SOPHISTICATION
Sven Elverfeld, chef de cuisine at Restaurant AQUA in the hotel Ritz-Carlton in Wolfsburg, is one of the finest chefs in Germany. A native of Hesse, he is known for his quite unique style of cooking in which he creatively combines traditional fare with haute cuisine, served up on porcelain including FÜRSTENBERG’s own.
After training as a confectioner and serving an apprenticeship as a chef, Sven Elverfeld travelled the culinary world – from Germany to Dubai, with stints in Greece and Japan. He arrived in Wolfsburg in 2000 and, with his team at AQUA, cooked up three stars in the Michelin Guide and 19.5 points in the Gault Millau Guide.

PORCELAIN AS THE SHOWCASE FOR FIRST-CLASS CUISINE
Sophistication and precision are more than just guiding principles in Sven Elverfeld’s kitchen. Just like at FÜRSTENBERG, where each item of porcelain is finished with the utmost attention to detail and meeting the highest quality standards. Porcelain series such as CARLO and TAPA from FÜRSTENBERG or MY CHINA! from SIEGER by FÜRSTENBERG goes perfectly with the refined culinary creations at the Restaurant AQUA.
Sven Elverfeld himself was involved in the creation of the gourmet line BLANC – his wishes and ideas for the perfect plate series were incorporated into the development of the exclusive BLANC range for high-end gastronomy – as well as for avid home cooks.

TIMELESS ELEGANCE IN THE RESTAURANT AND ON THE TABLE
The exquisite porcelain from FÜRSTENBERG blends harmoniously into the timelessly elegant design of Restaurant AQUA. The use of top-quality materials – such as the manufactured porcelain from FÜRSTENBERG – is given high priority in the restaurant styling. Fine textiles provide colour accents and a relaxed atmosphere. The selected porcelain from FÜRSTENBERG underlines the harmony of textures and the unique taste of Sven Elverfeld’s sophisticated cuisine.
When you indulge in one of the multi-course menus featuring AQUA’s special, modern European cuisine, you can enjoy the views over the park and water landscape of Auto City, Wolfsburg through the large, panoramic window.
