What Color Is FÜRSTENBERG?
In 2026, the time had come: we introduced a new corporate design. We created a new brand identity. We opened a new chapter. Clearer, more intentional, and consistently focused on the future. As we developed our new brand identity, one question guided us more than any other: What color is FÜRSTENBERG?
Kaolin, feldspar, and quartz - these three natural raw materials have been used for centuries to create a material that continues to captivate people around the world: porcelain. Its exceptional quality, considerable value, and above all its brilliant white color earned this remarkable material the name “White Gold.”
But porcelain is not only white. From an early stage, porcelain manufacturers began decorating their creations with intricate patterns. Cobalt blue, in particular, became one of the defining colors of European porcelain history and remains closely associated with the material to this day.
So is FÜRSTENBERG white? Blue? Or something entirely different? To answer that question, we first had to ask a different one:
What Color Tells the Story of FÜRSTENBERG?
A new brand identity should do more than simply look more modern. It should express what a brand stands for. That’s why developing our new corporate design wasn’t just about creating a new logo or choosing new colors. It was about making the values that have shaped FÜRSTENBERG for generations visible. In the end, the answer to our question was surprisingly simple: green.
