In the Chinese Year of the Horse 2026, the horse motif stands for strength, freedom, and new beginnings—powerfully rendered in a precise relief that lends the refined drinking vessel expression and depth.

TOUCHÉ ZODIAQUE – Reliefs of the Chinese zodiac signs
The ZODIAQUE designs of the TOUCHÉ series were created by various artists and, with great craftsmanship, were authentically and precisely transferred onto the tumblers by the porcelain artisans in the FÜRSTENBERG studio, exactly following the original designs. Inspired by the Chinese horoscope, the twelve zodiac motifs—dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, pig, rat, ox, rabbit, and tiger—embellish the ZODIAQUE collection.

The TOUCHÉ series comprises three tumbler shapes: a small tumbler for espresso, a large tumbler for coffee or cocktails, and a bowl for tea and cocoa. The series is complemented by matching white saucers and a breakfast plate. Crafted from wafer-thin manufactory porcelain, the handleless tumblers impress with their gentle tactile feel and a distinctive thermal effect thanks to their double-walled construction.
A hallmark of FÜRSTENBERG is its artisanal sophistication: with a body thickness of just 1.2 to 1.5 millimeters, the large tumbler is exceptionally light and feels almost weightless in the hand. All TOUCHÉ tumblers feature a glossy interior glaze and a matte, sealed exterior that is resistant to discoloration. The series has been honored with the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2012 as well as the German Design Award 2014 – Special Mention.
