RÊVERIE – A journey into daydreams and discovery
The French designer Dimitri Rybaltchenko created a poetic decor for the porcelain manufactory, inviting one to daydream together. The vibrant blue decor RÊVERIE for the AURÉOLE dinnerware collection depicts clouds in which various animals can be discovered – a tribute to warm summer days spent gazing at the sky, transforming fleeting cloud formations into fantastical creatures. RÊVERIE is an elegant design full of lightness and magic, inviting daydreams and inspiring captivating conversations at the table.
Animals as varied as the imagination
Butterflies and dragonflies on teacups, polar bears on the sugar bowl, squirrels on the cereal bowl – the hidden animals in the cloud motif of RÊVERIE are as varied as the imagination itself. Some, like hedgehogs, deer, foxes, or rabbits, live in the forests around Fürstenberg, while others offer small humorous allusions to the dishes and beverages. For example, a lively little weasel adorns the espresso cup, a calf decorates the milk jug and a fish embellishes the soup plate.
International design and refined craftsmanship
FÜRSTENBERG is renowned for premium porcelain, consistently created through creative collaborations with renowned artists and designers. The realization of the imaginative decor by designer Dimitri Rybaltchenko demanded meticulous attention to detail: The predominant hue is a deep, radiant blue, interwoven with lighter nuances to create a sense of depth and three-dimensionality in the clouds. Fine details, such as the almost invisible seams of the printed decor, particularly on cups and bowls, testify to the craftsmanship of the porcelain makers. AURÉOLE RÊVERIE is microwave-proof and dishwasher-proof due to the in-glaze firing at 1280°C.
