Dinnerware, like plates, bowls and cups come in many different sizes, forms and decors. There are a lot of different options to choose from when shopping FÜRSTENBERG dinnerware for your dinner table.
FÜRSTENBERG, as a traditional company from Lower Saxony in Nothern Germany, is setting new standards in German porcelain manufacture with its premium collections featuring upmarket dinnerware design of the highest quality. The portfolio ranges from dinner services, coffee and tea sets, tableware and gift items to unique designer pieces. Each FÜRSTENBERG product is made in Germany.
FÜRSTENBERG porcelain has an important advantage for the Mix & Match trend, because the consistent whiteness of all articles creates a harmonious basis. This makes it possible to not only combine within one form, but also gives one’s creativity free rein of all forms and decors.
Unique craftsmanship and exclusive manufacturer's premium porcelain - fine china - this is what FÜRSTENBERG has stood for since 1747. Porzellanmanufaktur FÜRSTENBERG is producing fine china for almost 270 years.
The small intricacies are what tell of true craftsmanship, and what lend the porcelain from FÜRSTENBERG its special value: double-walled vessels, the paper-thin inner and outer walls of which can only be put together by hand; decors that flow together underneath the handle; or gold decorations which run overboard (e.g. the edge of a cup) and which can only be hand-painted.
Today, the major portion of the porcelain production at FÜRSTENBERG continues to be based on manual labour. At FÜRSTENBERG, the people make the porcelain, in every sense of the word: with their hands, their ideas and above all, with their expertise stemming from almost 270 years of experience in the art of manufacturing handmade porcelain.
Many of our staff members completed their vocational training at our porcelain manufactory and have been working to perpetuate the perfection that characterises FÜRSTENBERG ever since, some of them for over 40 years.
