North Germany's only porcelain museum is located in our restored renaissance castle, which is protected as a historical monument. Three centuries of FÜRSTENBERG porcelain culture are documented here in historical and contemporary collections. Changing exhibitions likewise display works from the fields of art and design. Visitors can come to understand the porcelain manufacturing process with the help of impressive exhibits and an illuminating film. Furthermore, the individual techniques are demonstrated at work places specially set up for this purpose in the exhibition rooms. But the castle building with its historical stairway is also worth seeing in itself.
