FÜRSTIN

Developed under Bauhaus influence, this form's clear lines comprise a link to the accent on function and design of the modern. Walter Nitzsche created this set of tableware in 1951/52 using the ivory glaze and characteristic detail, such as the footed cup, which remain typical for FÜRSTIN today. The silky-matt shine of this service is set off by the hand polished, wide gold rim of the FÜRSTIN pattern. More subdued, the Goldring pattern encloses the form within its narrow bands, lending it a restrained nobility.
